Week 10+11 - UV editing "High-Poly" Models (05/04/2024)

Due to how geometrical a lot of my high poly models were initially, it wasn't actually that much of a hassle to UV map them. While this does invalidate the high to low poly workflow I was attempting to use, I definitely now know better for next time to do low poly models first for when I attempt this 3D modelling pipeline again.





I also created an entirely new model to act as the pins for the pincushion, as the spiked fences felt awkward since it defeated the purpose of the pincushion with the pins poking outwards, plus it ended up looking more like a skewered sack of meat than an actual pincushion. Hopefully, this pin model should better implicate that it is a pincushion.
